Our weather lately is "suppose" to be moving forward to Spring but it seems that winter wants to linger on. If Winter could speak, I wonder what it would say to the question, Why do you want to linger?
Perhaps Winter would say, "Lingering feels so good. Feels so familiar. Feels so right. When I see the works of my hands and the beauty of the scenes I am in awe of what I have learned to do. It is the accumulation of millenniums from the beginning of time. Why would I not want to stay?
I think this happens to us as well. What we do becomes to familiar, comfortable and wonderful we can't help but want to linger. We see the "works of our hands" and say, "Ah, this has taken a life time to learn. Why give it up? I'm so experienced at it and it looks great when I do it!
One thing the Winter has over us...it is created to be the same year after year. Oh, there may be nuances of a temperature drop here or there or the wind less bruising than the day before or the humidity at the right number to guarantee snow or not, but the creative intent is always the same. It is what God intended the Winter to be and Winter obeys.
Now with us we are privileged to bring forth what God intends for us to be. We must go within to discover our reason for being. We have free will. We can make of our existence what we decide whether or not it is in keeping with God's intent for us.
If we decide not to move move forward we would be putting a stop on our next step of growth. We would be delaying this new thing to learn, develop and cultivate. And think of all the people who would that would be affected in our immediate circle. Their life experience would be on hold because you refused to move forward.
The winter is created to do as it does. You are created to evolve into the perfect expression of the Creator. So, make the decision to move forward when your inner listening says it is time. Moving Forward, the only way to grow. |
